RESEARCH & IDEATION
After interviewing numerous drone operators I discovered the Soarizon flight process was not true-to-life and provided an inadequate experience for drone opertors with complex use cases.
I researched how these situations play out in the field using paper forms and designed a re-entrant digital process enabling operators to repeat their On-Site Surveys and Pre-Flight Checks as needed.
I wrote use cases for each of our personas and validated them and the new journey with independant drone operators as well as those in large enterprises.
To get sign-off I framed the problem and presented my solutions to the wider project team for approval. Later, building a User Journey Map helped me to identify other opportunities to further enhance the process in the future.
