It took ages to find a high quality trailer for the new ‘Star Trek Movie‘.

It looks from this new ‘Star Trek Movie‘ trailer like James Kirk was a mischievous little shit as a boy, presumably the mysterious alien-robot-thing encourages him to try harder.

I think showing the origins of the ‘Star Trek‘ characters and how they came to be on the Enterprise will bring more ‘human interest’ to ‘Star Trek‘ which in the last decade began to revolve more around technology than people; maybe the reason for it’s decline?

I like the gritty, blue collar Earth in this new ‘Star Trek Movie‘ trailer. It seems from the trailer that J.J. Abrams has gone for a blue collar Earth like in ‘Aliens‘ rather than a lush, beautiful, utopian Earth usually seen in ‘Star Trek‘ movies.

What car is it that James Kirk is driving and probably stolen in the trailer? I have no idea about cars, least of all American ones.

I’m suddenly captivated by the new Keanu Reeves movie ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still‘. Based on a 1951 film of the same name, this 2008 reimagining (Keanu Reeves doesn’t do remakes apparently) looks quite good. Check out this official trailer for ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still‘.

From the trailer I’d say ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still‘ appears to be ‘K-Pax‘, ‘Independence Day‘ and ‘War of The Worlds‘ rolled into one.

Keanu Reeves will play Klaatu, a perfectly pleasant and well-mannered alien in human form. Sadly Klaatu has been sent to Earth to tell us that we are to be destroyed.

‘The Day the Earth Stood Still‘ will be released in the US on Dec 12 2008.

I’m determined to see the 1951 original of ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still‘ first as I’m told it’s a classic.

This trailer makes Terminator Salvation looking outstanding! Finally, new types of Terminator! I saw Motor-Cycle Terminators!, simple Humanoid Terminators (the T600?), and what that gigantic Terminator at the end??!?

This is what I’ve been waiting for since I first saw Terminator 2 as a kid; T4 could be incredible!

When I first heard about Terminator Salvation (T4), I was sceptical and feared that the Terminator Saga could be ruined by a cheap milking.

But when I heard Christian Bale was playing John Connor in Terminator Salvation (T4), I breathed a sigh of relief. Bale is a quality actor who earned my respect with The Machinist long before he did Batman. I’m sure Bale will be awesome as John Connor in T4.
